Gyro Headquarters - Murrumbo

The Club operated for many years at Singleton NSW. When the airport changed ownership we had to leave, luckily we still had access to our old flying site, a property near Denman NSW. The club started flying there in the late 80's, thanks to Sid Hill who found a property owner who did not mind Gyros flying around.

In september 2007 the club had to move once again, the property is up for sale. So we moved  to a property near Bylong, NSW. At an elevation of one thousand feet above sea level, the area  we operate in is called Murrumbo.

Thanks to the generosity of the property owners we have a fantastic location on a beautiful property.

It is only about 40 minutes drive from our old location at Yarrawa.

Being in country Australia water is scarce, so we have installed a water tank off the hanger plus we have another tank off the bunk house.

A few die hard members spent a few weekends working on setting up the new facilities and putting up the club hanger  which is now finished .

There is a small garage on site that we use as a kitchen and bunkhouse.
